Hey folksickles, Alright guys, we're catching up and quick so... I'm pretty gosh darn excited. This month's theme is somewhat glittery and for that I fully blame Tati.
Alright, all the goodies I've been enjoying in this... past month. :)
Alright, all the goodies I've been enjoying in this... past month. :)
1. Nature Republic Bulgarian Rose Moisture Toner - This toner just makes me so happy when I use it. It has a nice thick texture that feels like a burst of moisture when it hits the skin and it smells absolutely fantastic. A very sweet honey-like rose aroma. Yum!
2. JulieG Nail Color in My Private Palace- So I layered on three layers of this and it's the most beautiful shimmer, glimmer, somewhat glittery nail polish that just looked really elegant but also party ready. Perfect for NYE but you guys know me, I'll wear that anytime.
3. Tattoo Junkee Lip Paint & Glitter Set in Pucker Up - This is what I really blame Tati for. She likes sparkly things in general and makes me want to add sparkle to my life. Anyway, she was raving about this stuff and it looked gorgeous on her so when I saw it at my local Duane Reade I figured YOLO and picked it up. The thing here is, I'm much more apt to be gutsy with trying drugstore makeup because its price point makes me not feel too horrible if the product doesn't work out well. In any case this is amazing and by far one of the best, most comfortable, matte formulations I've ever worn. It looks SUPER MATTE if you don't use the glitter, in fact I have a look coming up where I used it and you guys will see. It feels like nothing on the mouth. Literally, you don't feel it. I think it smells like candy which is neither here nor there. Plus the glitter is comfortable too, if you grind your lips together a lot or lick them you'll feel the glitter but otherwise it's really finely milled and comfortable to wear too. This stuff stays on really wonderfully. I'm very, very impressed and recommend you try these guys out. I mean for $7 if you're not someone who likes glitter and just wants a good matte lip keep the lip and give the glitter to someone else. I think they're worth much more than $7 each, let alone as a set.
4. Tarte Highlighter in Gator Wings: We all know of my deep, undying love for Tarte's highlighters. The glow they give is FAR SUPERIOR TO ANYTHING ELSE. You read that right. I don't know how to explain it but they leave you with this gorgeous glowing intense luster that nothing else quite matches. Once they're buffed into the skin the glow is, again, like nothing else on the market. I constantly swatch things side by side with Tarte that I think are nice and end up thinking "Tarte is nicer!" This highlight doesn't disappoint. It gives you that gorgeous intense gleam and I LOVE IT. I wish it didn't have glitter chunks in it though, is the only thing, but the good news is at least they stay in place and don't migrate all over your face.
5. Revlon Lashes in 99510 Dramatic Volume 3x: The lashes were so awesome and gave me a really good balance of really thick and voluminous whilst also being long... but not too long. I loved the way they looked so much. Would definitely get another pair if I could get my hands on one.
