I was sunburnt by the Batam sun in March; my hands and legs went all black. The skin started peeling after 2-3 weeks, and I noticed that white stuff kept falling off my hair too. That was very unusual because I don't have dandruff. It was so itchy, and I kept wondering what's happening. I was worried sick. Finally, I realise it must be peeling skin from sunburn, and I badly needed to soothe my scalp, so that it is not so itchy. I figured that dandruff shampoo may do the job, and went shopping for one.
After walking around the supermarket for a while, I finally decided on the CLEAR Women Anti-dandruff Shampoo because I like how it uses herbs. I have had great experience with Nature's Gate Herbal Hair Shampoo and Conditioner, so I was hoping this CLEAR one would be good too.
So does this shampoo hold up to my expectations? Read on to find out!

Star Properties: With Nutrium 10, fused with Asian Herbs, Ginseng, and Tea Tree Extract.
Packaging
The packaging of this really stands out from others on the shelves, because the bottle is angular, not the usual round. The angular edged gives this a very professional looking feel.
The colours are also very well used, with pretty green to represent the herbs, and gold to gives the luxurious feel.
The instructions and ingredients are also printed clearly in both Thai and English on the back.
Product Texture
I love how this shampoo comes out as a cream that looks and feel very luxurious.
Effectiveness
The effect of this is instant! The very night I used this shampoo, my scalp just stopped itching altogether. And after that, I don't find any more white flakes falling out of my hair!
I know this does not sound true. But it is!
At that point, I thought that I have wasted my money buying the whole large bottle of shampoo, because I don't need it after one use. But because I do not want to waste it like that, I thought I'd continue using it until empty. Nowadays, I use this shampoo after those particularly long days when my head just feels so sweaty and uncomfortable. It is an instant comforter for the scalp! =DDD
Otherwise, I can afford to deviate, and use my Tsubaki, Pantene, and Dove, without facing the white flakes syndrome.
Fragrance
I do like the smell of the herbs. If your scalp is allergic to fragrances, you may want to skip this, as the perfume content is within the top 1/3 of the ingredients.
Price
This is comparatively affordable, and I have no problems putting money into this. I think the instant effectiveness makes up for everything.
Basically, CLEAR is Unilever's answer to Head & Shoulders by P&G. And in general, Unilever's products are a tad more affordable than P&G's.
Recommend
I would definitely recommend this if you are looking for a soothing (both scalp and fragrance-wise) scalp shampoo.
