The Stila Eyes Are The Window Shadow Palette in Soul was released in mid (approx) 2014 as a part of their Fall collection and, after trying a selection of their eyeshadows in the Stila In The Light Palette, I knew it was just a matter of time before I picked the bad boy up. I've been playing
I've been using the Stila Eyes Are The Window Shadow Palette in Soul palette for a few weeks now after picking up during the Black Friday sales this year, so I figured it was time to let you know my thoughts!
Stila's Eyes Are The Window Shadow Palette in Soul is a palette of twelve neutral tones in a variety of matte and shimmer formulas. Stila says that these shadows can be used wet or dry but I haven't put that claim to the test as I very rarely use my eyeshadows with a damp brush.

*Bottom two rows*

As you can see from the swatches and descriptions above, there's a few different eyeshadow formulas in the Stila Eyes Are The Window Shadow Palette in Soul. The matte shades in this palette are really easy to work with, especially for a matte shadow. I find they blend out and build up really nicely which is great for crease work and intensifying looks. Kitten, Affection, Thought, Vitality and Substance all have a really beautiful formula. Though the level of pigmentation changed a bit (Kitten, Vitality and Substance are all super pigmented), they're all equally beautiful to apply and smooth to touch. Character, Peace and any other frosty shade that I may have forgotten are quite patchy thought useable, applying a like a dry matte eyeshadow even though they have some shimmer to them.
Even though it might look like another neutral palette, I am really enjoying using the Stila Eyes Are The Window Shadow Palette in Soul. My favourite shades would be Individual, Kitten and Vitality, though I find myself using all the shades in the palette for various looks. All in all, I think it's a beautiful palette and Stila has nailed it once again!
The Stila Eyes Are The Window Shadow Palette in Soul, along with the other three palettes in the Eyes Are the Window range, retails for $68.00 here in Australia and it can be bought at Mecca Cosmetica and/or Maxima. If you're patient, you can also picked this up for $40.90 (though the price does change as currency conversion does) from Beauty Bay.
