To be honest, I am a complete newbie when it comes to Clarins but it has always been a brand that I really admire. There are countless Clarins products on my wish list so I was extremely pleased to be introduced to the brand by this gorgeous Gift with Purchase. The gift itself includes a 50ml Clarins Pure Melt Cleansing Gel, 100ml Clarins Tonic Body Balm and a 50ml Clarins Hand and Nail Treatment Cream. All of which I was rather excited to give a try!
Clarins describe this product as a true cleansing sensation! The triple-texture cleansing gel transforms into an oil that melts away every last trace of excess oil and impurities - including the heaviest of makeup. Water activates the gel into a silky milk that rinses your skin squeaky clean. Soothes and nourishes with Marula Oil for optimal radiance. I always love experimenting with new skincare and this was my first experience trying a gel to milk formulation. I will be sure to follow up with a full review, however, so far it has been working so well within my skincare routine!
This refreshing body treatment with a firming blend of Ginseng and Apple Seed Oil soothes dryness, improves vitality and promotes the appearance of tones, supple-looking skin. Refreshes the senses with the aromatic essences of Geranium, Rosewood, Mint and Rosemary and the non-oily texture delivers a satin-fresh finish. I have been loving applying this to freshly out of the shower / bath skin. I make sure to keep my skin slightly damp and then moisturise the product into my skin - it really leaves such a gorgeous finish.
One thing I probably don't take enough care of is my hands and using any kind of product to keep them in tip-top shape. I have noticed that my hands have been more sensitive with the weather changing. This emollient-rich hand and nail treatment with soothing Sesame Oil and fortifying Japanese Mulberry. The moisturiser forms an invisible protective glove that shields hands from the elements, keeping skin smooth and silking and minimising signs of ageing. Not only that but it also helps strengthen nails and conditions cuticles for naturally clean, soft and youthful looking hands.
