What's you best garage sale find? This watch was purchased at a garage sale in England for $38. Now Christie's is auctioning the watch and expects it to bring up to $100,000. Why? The watch is a movie star! The watch, a Breitling Top Time, was worn by Sean Connery when he played James Bond in the 1965 movie, Thunderball.
The watch was adapted for the movie to include a Gieger counter which is used in the film to detect the emission of nuclear radiation. The purchaser didn't know what he had found but thought it might be worth finding out. As it turns out his find will be bringing in big bucks in Christie's Pop Culture sale on June 26th.
