A Ramble around my mind.

I am hopeless at counting but this morning out of curiosity I clicked onto Bloglovin to discover that I have 168 followers there. There are another 219 on Blogger, plus quite a lot of lovely peeps who read, and comment, but do not "follow".

I have a reasonable blog list and there are more that I read by clicking on comments on other blogs. Does that make sense it seems a bit convoluted?

Anyhow, I want to thank you all, readers and followers alike. It is good to know that I am not talking to thin air.

I do tend to run on at times, it is in my genes, all my family members like a good old mardle.

I also tend to go off piste, that's because I write as I speak. If something pops into my mind my fingers transfer it to the post. I do have a quick read back on preview in case there are glaring typos.
My mind runs much faster than my fingers and sometimes I miss out the spaces altogether.

I don't chew over each comma or even word, life is too short. I am what I am and have no intention of  "putting a face on".

If I cause offence it is completely accidental, I do have strong views and sometimes they bubble up and will not be stilled. A bit like bread with too much yeast.

Talking of bread I better go and check mine, it is having the first proof, I would hate to have it spoil. I make 2 large loaves at a time and when they are cold I slice them and freeze. That lasts us more than a week, unless we have a few "toasty" days. You know what I mean, toast and marmalade for breakfast, a sandwich for lunch and a lazy "something on toast" for dinner. We don't do that often but there are days.......usually wet weather days when I am immersed in sewing or knitting.

I do tend to run on about crafting, gardening and food. Mmmm
Possibly because those are the cornerstones of my life.

Boring? Not at all. I am happy in my skin and love my life. Well not the days that are full of cleaning and Ironing, oh how I hate Ironing. I could not wear my clothes unless they were ironed though.
I press every seam when I am sewing and it bothers me not, it is essential for a good finish. I quite enjoy the process. Strange that.

On that note I am off to check the ironing basket, I am almost certain that there are just 4 garments in it. I have some sewing to do later and will sneak the garments in so it becomes a relatively painless task.
